1. About us

This website, The 12-Step Rosary (12steprosary.vercel.app), is operated by Fjalar ráðgjöf ehf, kennitala (company registration number) 710326‑1260, Iceland ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at fjalar@fjalarsig.is. By ordering a rosary from us, you agree to these terms.

2. The product

Each 12-Step Rosary is a handmade item: a bead rosary with an interchangeable pendant, shipped together with a small cloth pouch containing a cross and an AA‑symbol pendant. Because pieces are handmade, small natural variations in bead colour, size, and finish should be expected and are not considered defects.

3. Ordering

Orders are placed directly through our order page, where you enter your name, email address, and Icelandic shipping address and are then taken to our payment provider's secure hosted page to pay by card. A contract between you and us is formed once your payment is confirmed and you see the order confirmation.

If you would prefer to order by email, or the online checkout does not work for you, you can also write to us at fjalar@fjalarsig.is and we will arrange payment and shipping individually; such orders are also governed by these terms.

4. Price and payment

The current price of a 12-Step Rosary is 4.450 ISK, inclusive of Icelandic VAT. Shipping within Iceland costs a flat 490 ISK, shown and added at checkout. We may change this price for future orders at any time; the price shown at checkout when you place your order is the price you pay.

Payment is processed securely by our payment provider, Rapyd, through its hosted checkout page. We do not see or store your card details; Rapyd processes them under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Shipping and delivery

At present we ship within Iceland only. Estimated delivery times will be communicated when we confirm your order and are estimates only, not guaranteed dates. Risk in the rosary passes to you once it is delivered to the address you provided at checkout.

6. Your right to cancel (EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer ordering from within the European Economic Area, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the rosary, without giving a reason, in accordance with the Icelandic Act on Consumer Transactions (lög um neytendasamninga nr. 16/2016). To cancel, email us at fjalar@fjalarsig.is before the 14‑day period ends. You are responsible for return shipping costs and for returning the item in the condition you received it; we will refund what you paid, including standard delivery charges, within 14 days of receiving the returned item or evidence that it has been sent back.

Where a rosary is made or personalised specifically to your specification (for example, a custom pendant combination made to order), the right of cancellation may not apply to the extent permitted by Icelandic consumer law; we will tell you clearly at the time of order if this is the case.

7. Faulty or damaged items

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Icelandic Sale of Goods Act in respect of items that are faulty or not as described. If your rosary arrives damaged or defective, please contact us as soon as possible with photos of the issue so we can arrange a repair, replacement, or refund.

8. Liability

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, nor does anything here limit your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Content and intellectual property

The text, images, and design of this website belong to Fjalar ráðgjöf ehf unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without our permission. Reference to the Twelve Steps, Step Prayers, and the Serenity Prayer is made for informational purposes only; these belong to the literature of Alcoholics Anonymous and other twelve‑step fellowships and are not reproduced on this site.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. If a dispute arises that we cannot resolve directly with you, Icelandic consumers may refer the matter to the Icelandic Consumer Agency (Neytendastofa) or the relevant consumer complaints board, or bring the matter before the Icelandic courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example as our ordering process changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Changes will not affect orders you have already placed.

1. Um okkur

Þessi vefsíða, Tólf spora talnabandið (12steprosary.vercel.app), er rekin af Fjalari ráðgjöf ehf, kennitala 710326‑1260, Íslandi ("við", "okkur"). Þú getur haft samband við okkur á fjalar@fjalarsig.is. Með því að panta talnaband hjá okkur samþykkir þú þessa skilmála.

2. Varan

Hvert Tólf spora talnaband er handunnið: talnaband með skiptanlegu nisti, sent ásamt litlum taupoka með krossi og AA‑merki. Þar sem hlutirnir eru handunnir má búast við litlum náttúrulegum breytileika í lit, stærð og áferð perla, sem telst ekki galli.

3. Pöntun

Pantanir eru gerðar beint í gegnum pöntunarsíðu okkar, þar sem þú skráir nafn, netfang og heimilisfang á Íslandi og ert síðan leidd/ur á örugga greiðslusíðu greiðsluþjónustuveitanda okkar til að greiða með korti. Samningur milli þín og okkar telst kominn á þegar greiðsla þín hefur verið staðfest og þú sérð staðfestingu pöntunar.

Ef þú vilt frekar panta með tölvupósti, eða greiðslulausnin virkar ekki fyrir þig, getur þú einnig sent okkur línu á fjalar@fjalarsig.is og við semjum um greiðslu og sendingu sérstaklega; slíkar pantanir lúta einnig þessum skilmálum.

4. Verð og greiðsla

Núverandi verð á Tólf spora talnabandi er 4.450 kr., með íslenskum virðisaukaskatti. Sending innan Íslands kostar fast gjald, 490 kr., sem sýnt er og bætt við í greiðsluferlinu. Við getum breytt þessu verði fyrir framtíðarpantanir hvenær sem er; verðið sem sýnt er í greiðsluferlinu þegar þú gerir pöntun er það verð sem þú greiðir.

Greiðsla er unnin á öruggan hátt af greiðsluþjónustuveitanda okkar, Rapyd, í gegnum þeirra greiðslusíðu. Við sjáum ekki og geymum ekki kortaupplýsingar þínar; Rapyd vinnur þær samkvæmt eigin skilmálum og persónuverndarstefnu.

5. Sending og afhending

Sem stendur sendum við aðeins innan Íslands. Áætlaður afhendingartími verður tilkynntur við staðfestingu pöntunar og er einungis áætlun, ekki tryggð dagsetning. Áhætta af talnabandinu flyst til þín þegar það hefur verið afhent á það heimilisfang sem þú gafst upp í greiðsluferlinu.

6. Skilaréttur (neytendur á EES-svæðinu)

Ef þú ert neytandi og pantar innan Evrópska efnahagssvæðisins hefur þú almennt rétt til að hætta við kaupin innan 14 daga frá móttöku talnabandsins, án þess að tilgreina ástæðu, í samræmi við lög um neytendasamninga nr. 16/2016. Til að nýta skilaréttinn skaltu senda okkur tölvupóst á fjalar@fjalarsig.is áður en 14 daga fresturinn rennur út. Þú berð kostnað af endursendingu og ábyrgist að skila vörunni í því ástandi sem þú fékkst hana; við endurgreiðum það sem þú greiddir, þ.m.t. hefðbundinn sendingarkostnað, innan 14 daga frá móttöku vörunnar eða staðfestingar á að hún hafi verið send til baka.

Ef talnaband er sérsniðið að þinni ósk (t.d. sérstök samsetning nista sem pöntuð er sérstaklega) kann skilarétturinn að falla niður að því marki sem íslensk neytendalög heimila; við munum tilkynna þér það skýrt við pöntun ef svo er.

7. Gallaðar eða skemmdar vörur

Ekkert í þessum skilmálum hefur áhrif á lögbundinn rétt þinn sem neytanda samkvæmt lögum um lausafjárkaup vegna vöru sem er gölluð eða ekki í samræmi við lýsingu. Ef talnabandið berst skemmt eða gallað skaltu hafa samband við okkur eins fljótt og hægt er, með myndum af vandamálinu, svo við getum boðið viðgerð, nýja vöru eða endurgreiðslu.

8. Ábyrgðartakmörkun

Við berum ekki ábyrgð á óbeinu tjóni sem leiðir af pöntun þinni. Ekkert í þessum skilmálum takmarkar eða útilokar ábyrgð okkar vegna dauða eða líkamstjóns af völdum gáleysis okkar, vegna svika, eða annarrar ábyrgðar sem ekki er heimilt að takmarka að lögum, né takmarkar neitt hér lögbundinn rétt þinn sem neytanda.

9. Efni og hugverkaréttur

Texti, myndir og hönnun þessarar vefsíðu tilheyra Fjalari ráðgjöf ehf nema annað sé tekið fram, og má ekki afrita eða endurnota án leyfis okkar. Tilvísanir í sporin tólf, sporabænirnar og æðruleysisbænina eru eingöngu til upplýsingar; þær tilheyra útgefnu efni AA‑samtakanna og annarra tólf spora samtaka og eru ekki birtar á þessari síðu.

10. Gildandi lög og ágreiningur

Um þessa skilmála gilda íslensk lög. Ef upp kemur ágreiningur sem ekki tekst að leysa milli okkar geta neytendur á Íslandi vísað málinu til Neytendastofu eða viðeigandi kærunefndar neytendamála, eða lagt málið fyrir íslenska dómstóla.

11. Breytingar á skilmálum

Við kunnum að uppfæra þessa skilmála, til dæmis ef pöntunarferlið breytist. Dagsetningin efst á síðunni sýnir hvenær þeir voru síðast endurskoðaðir. Breytingar hafa ekki áhrif á pantanir sem þegar hafa verið gerðar.
